The speaker system incorporates a Full Range 2.5-inch speakers for great sound quality and power. The 1701-D 12-inch-long scaled replica features beautifully colored LED’s on the Bussard collectors, warp engine field grills, saucer impulse engines, main impulse engine, and the deflector dish. The LEDs easily turn on and off to fit the mood when playing music, white noise, or in play mode.
The Enterprise D sports 5 sound effects, including warp drive, photon torpedoes firing, engine hum, and auto destruct. Majel Barrett Roddenberry voices the incoming transmission sound.
